My boyfriend and I want to go on a spectuacular vacation soon. We were looking for ideas. Anyone have any awesome locations? A means to save a lot cash would be nice too. Vacationing is pricey these days.

The downside to this marketing strategy is that you're more likely to end up a subcontractor on someone else's project than to find real clients. Because real business owners who might contract with you don't spend time participating in online forums. There are lots better avenues for marketing your business than forum sites.

Above all: know who your best client is going to be and make sure you are visible in the places those clients will look for someone like you.
